            We are known as the Blessed Sacrament Sisters. Nearly three centuries ago, we were founded in a small village in Ardeche, FRANCE.
 
            Our story begins in a very small way : when a good person sees a pressing need and responds with ingenuity and generosity, things happen !God can perform marvels from very humble beginnings...

            Peter Vigne, whose life was already devoted to God in priesthood, chose to go where others refused, among un-sophisticated and un-educated peasants .. A chance meeting with a small group of women, who also wanted to help those around them , and P Vigne formed the first Community of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, firmly united by the Blessed Sacrement.
             God can perform marvels from very humble beginnings...

 

             Today, through 3 continents, the inspiration is still the same: try to improve the lot of those around us through educating, caring, living among people and bearing witness to the Love of God, which surpasses all understanding...
